ABOUT LOUVE

Louve is a sustainable & ethical company as well as entirely women-owned and women-led. Our commitment since we launched the company in 2009 has been to create clothes in a responsible way to offer you ethical fashion options that don’t break the bank. It was created with one desire in mind: to break the rules. We believe that trendy, comfortable, sustainable and affordable fashion should be the norm; and we set out to prove it was possible, mostly through our focus on zero waste & creating low impact fashion. The brand believes in transparency and in making clothes that respect the planet, the people and animals.

At the heart of what we do, we want to treat our environment with respect and care and hoping our values will inspire others to follow a path to a happier, and more sustainable future.

based in Victoriaville in Québec, Canada, and make most of our clothes there too. Transparency is an important value for us and we will always be upfront about the way our clothes are made.

MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

I created Louve with one desire in mind: to break the rules. Why wasn’t it possible to find responsible fashion options that were also affordable, and that I wanted to wear every day? Ever since I created Louve in 2009, I’ve been on a quest to address this gap in the market. I believe in transparency and in making clothes that respect the planet, the people and animals. The fashion industry is one of the most important sources of waste in our world, and I want Louve to help change that. What you won’t find at Louve are seasonal collection drops. We make clothes in small batches, based on the most ethical materials we find, always to match our price points so we can keep things affordable for you. For this reason, if you see something you like, I suggest you grab it! We always strive to bring back best sellers, but sometimes we’ll only have access to a small quantity of the right material. I also care about who we buy materials from. We’re an all-women team, and we prioritize working with women suppliers as well. This is the human side of Louve: we care about things like fair wages and supporting other women’s livelihood. We also give back to our community and you’ll find several examples of our what that looks like on this page.
